Students in my office hours discussing they think the *most sure* ways to make money:

Go viral on tik tok with a goofy dance or something

Have a popular youtube channel

Make lucky bets on sports

Be early in some tech stock

More sure than finishing a degree in engineering and looking for a job.

I was eavesdropping on their conversation amongst themselves, they were not asking me for my opinion. I only added “no one can take your education away from you” and “you will not regret building your intellect”.
