Yes it's true. Most older people in this nation believe the government has their best interests in mind unfortunately.
I wouldn't say funny. It's more sad how much they government and business has prayed upon its citizens.
Sacrificing health and safety for profit is EXTREMELY common 😑. Imagine how atrocious it would be without OSHA and other regulatory bodies 🥴 (not saying all regulators are ethically pure either)
