Seed signer!

why?

you can build it from parts you can buy on the internet and download the operating system from the source. this mitigates a potential supply chain attack where the hardware could be tampered with by a malicious actor, as well as the requirement of handing over private information such as your name and address.

there are also coldcards, which are available from coinkite. the dude in charge kinda sucks - but he does make a good product.

jade from blockstream is also fine as well as foundation passport (I think that's what it's called).

thanks for more information. I read about them

I'm testing nostr:npub1tg779rlap8t4qm8lpgn89k7mr7pkxpaulupp0nq5faywr8h28llsj3cxmt. Let's see how it works when it arrives. Tresor is recommented also. Coldcard could Be good too.

thank you for sharing your experiences

Cold card is my favourite

i still don't have a hardware wallet. but of course i will use an open-source one.

How?

any hardware wallet which uses an open-source firmware. so i can inspect the source code.

Trezor seems less bad than others generally

SeedSigner/XMRSigner

Trezor

Foundation devices

All those support both BTC and XMR. Ledger has non desirable "recovery features".

Trezor.

I like coldcard. Well made. Can use them in a simple way or more advanced ways (airgap). I like navigating the device and the helpful prompts/warnings it gives you when performing actions. Pair with Sparrow wallet and you have a great experience.

Definitely TREZOR

Coldcard mk4 and Q
