So their announcement is for a non-custodial version which is going to be interesting to see how they do it. I'd guess it will be similar to Phoenix. I'm anxiously awaiting more details also.

As for their existing custodial wallet it's always been the top tier lightning UX. Very simple and easy to use and I can't remember it ever failing me. It's got an lnaddress for nostr and plenty of liquidity for larger payments through their well connected node. Also the ability to swap out your sats to the chain relatively cheap. That's really all you need to participate on lightning.

Also it's interesting they haven't added their custodial wallet back to US app stores. I guess they are still worried about regulatory risks. Non-custodial may seem safer from that perspective as they are never in control of user funds.

That checks all my boxes; ease of use, NWC, good ux and able to swap. I really want it
