Some days, I fantasize about ditching the animals and land to live the high life, snagging meat and eggs from Costco like a suburban ninja. Other days, I slap myself back to reality, remembering the mission: building a small, sustainable farm stay that doesnโ€™t involve me wrestling chickens at dawn. Itโ€™s a wild tug-of-war between craving convenience and chasing the dream, but Iโ€™m sticking to the muddy-boots endgame. Hopefully ๐Ÿ˜

Stay the course! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Will do sometimes I get off track ๐Ÿ˜‚

suburban life is vapid and consumerist. the things you are doing are real.

True thanks I will remember this

It's why I left it and am now raising ducks in the country.

Based

I'm aiming for the same. But damn land is so expensive. Especially those able to grow crop.

Just grow beef then ๐Ÿ˜‚

Growing beef is very work demanding on the scale I need to make this change viable. I was planning something I could keep on my own most of the time, for example some permaculture I would only need more arms during harvest.
