Disagree. It's not my responsability to take of degenerates often drug addicts. They are where they are because of thousands of consecutive bad choices.

They are also a symptom of how we have been behaving as a society where people have also become throw aways.
The WEF has spoken about how we need to make progress. Always progress over people. What kind of humanity do we have if you leave people behind? Considering who and what we are, we should not be prioritising things over people.

I know, but I'm pushing back on it out of interest, trying to point out that society is just individuals, and ethically speaking, none of them have responsibilities to sacrifice their own well being for others - instead, they might do so because they choose to.
I doubt very much they chose to, more likely mistakes, abuse, mental breakdowns, addictions etc
