Some spammer can come along and reply to everything I post with bestiality porn or genocide promotion and there's nothing I can do to stop it. That's not free-speech. That's a shit social media protocol :-D
Over time there will be different relays with different policies and reputations on which users can tune in or not. It's like selecting the radio frequency you want to listen to.
