Saylor doesn't know shit about bitcoin core development but he has massive influence over how that development is or isn't funded. This is a problem.

Nobody who works on bitcoin thinks it is done. None of these people are in favor of short term ossification. It may take a little humility to grasp this. Billionaires lack humility.

I agree but I don’t think Saylor is saying freeze the code and never touch it again no matter what. I think he’s just against funding proactive devs who are looking to make big changes to “improve” bitcoin. I’d think he’s smart enough to understand unforeseen problems will eventually arise that need to be fixed and that maintaining core in that sense is a must.

Obviously this would be a much easier discussion if he’d just come out and say what he thinks instead of us guessing

I agree we need to hear his side of the story.
