It is truly hilarious to read certain liberal accounts convinced there is some vast bitcoin consensus on the right. It's so wildly inaccurate it borders on being a conspiracy theory.

Reality: The admin has indicated clearly via Lutnick et all that they want to create a stablecoin dollar. Possibly also wanting to overhaul the internal gov payments systems. To do this they would need the technical expertise of people across bitcoin and the broader crypto industry.

So they made favorable policies and did things like free ross to gain the support of the industry. There is no consensus broader than that. Most normie conservatives are not bitcoin supporters,own none or very little, and view it with considerable skepticism.
