If youre a mac user ollama runs very well on apple silicon M chips. If not just get a used older nvidia gpu.

Be sure the model is using the gpu processing and not the cpu

I have a very shitty laptop I use only for work. When im ready ill probably build myself a small form factor computer.

Mac seems to restrictive.
