Why would anyone not only voluntarily commit to worldwide taxation that comes with US citizenship, but actually pay for it?
That's exactly what I'm wondering. It isn't like we don't let rich people visit here if they want to.
It is not nationality but residency/citicenship. Regular americans have it worst because the tax man follows you around the globe. The golden visa allows those rich people to come and go as they please from the US with their business on their back.
The american marken is huge, and for those types, 5M is pocket money.
