Interesting. First part of this reply is obviously not true. He's probably talking about the fact that masto doesn't have proper search functionality, but of course once you federate other activitypub sw does. bsky can always modify their api access if they wish, but unless he defeds everyone *and* blackholes them it will always be possible to quote post as well as screenshot him. Two things I can't do without a bsky account.

Correct, but what I mean is bsky can update their code to prevent this app from working. A masto instance can't do that without becoming non standard and breaking federation.
Yep, I think there was another one of these firehose sites that had bsky and nostr side by side. All I'm saying is they control the protocol and could lock it down in future if they wish while this is somewhere between difficult and impossible for mastodon.
His suggestion that masto gives more control is false.

support nostr and bitcoin, he is quite hands off so bluesky is really the responsibility of the main devs there
