Yes, it does spread. Once you have it you will always have it. The good thing about that is that the taproot pulls minerals from the deep soils, so it's excellent compost and really easy to pull.

So, definitely use with caution depending on what you need in your soils and garden!

I was curious as I have the bocking 4 & 14 variety which doesn’t spread.

We are hoping to make a fertilizer out of the leaves, they are such wonderful plants
