What people consider hateful or bigoted is subjective.

There is no such thing as a "trans" person because no transition is actually possible. People can pretend to be whatever they want to be, but at the end of the day drugs & self mutilation change nothing.

I have blocked people who appear to be trolls spouting unnecessary language while contributing nothing of value to any conversation. But the reality is that people who allow themselves to be offended or otherwise controlled by the language of others are weak. Sticks & stones may break your bones but words can never hurt you... unless you let them.

Have conversations that might help to correct the positions of others, or block & move on.

While I disagree with your perspective on trans people (to whatever extent I can disagree, having never lived that experience either), I agree with much of what you wrote.

However, bigotry is not (that) subjective. Hate speech laws are bad. So is hate speech (yeah yeah, what counts as hate speech, we know it when we see it) but that doesn’t mean jail is the answer, obviously. (Again, freedom is my ideal in this conversation, like any).

Abusive, mocking, and threatening language toward a group who already is targeted for physical violence is obviously bad, and measurably contributes to further violence against those groups.

What I’m saying is, people who do that under the guise of “freedom” are transparently *not* walking the walk or talking the talk.

I haven't seen much (if any) evidence that trans people are targets for violence. I have seen quite a bit of evidence that they are self destructive & often hostile or violent toward others. I think they tend to be people who were severly abused in some form or fashion & most need serious mental help. What they don't need is people who want to make money selling them physical & chemical mutilation as a "service."

i have had a number of friends and acquaintances over the years with various kinds of psychosis... quite remarkable, actually, my most recent associate who funded me to build https://github.com/indra-labs/indra recently sent me some mysterious messages talking about "they" attacking him with "directed energy weapons" and now he was back home and safe from them...

back in 2016 i had a friend who introduced me to Go and Cosmos and we were working on a Steemit fork and one day weird messages and poof he disappears and then next thing i hear he's made the news having stolen a vehicle and disrupting a political rally, ended up in prison, his girlfriend (later wife) messaged me to tell me what was happening and he was moved back home and went on lithium and other things and is much better now... and in my teens i met more than a few, this one girl when i was 17, and then a couple years later i encountered one in the psytrance scene in byron bay

it really is exactly the same kind of psychological problem and anyone who encourages the validation of their delusional model of the world should be considered a sociopath because that's precisely what sociopaths whole MO is - encouraging people with latent psychotic tendencies to go off the deep end, and that gives you nazi germany, communism, jim jones cult, seventh day adventists, scientology, democrat party, all kinds of shit... it's all the same, and trained psychologists like that famous one i forget his name, brave of him to speak it out because just 20 years ago everything he says was considered to be pretty much the working theory of human psychological malfunctions, and now, literally the crazy people have taken over the institution, and of course they are psychopaths, their whole fun game is making people do insane things
