Hello Nostr community. Started with MySpace. I quit Fakebook 10 years ago. Quit Google+ well before it failed. Had TwatterX never posted. Never had Zuckergram, TicTard, Snapshit, etc. Minds and Steemit were fun, this looks better...decentralized beautifulness. Here is what I'm reading at present.

If a lack of social media and the reading of books creates the beautiful mind that you are 🤔 I think I just may shift my attention in that direction🫡 😁❤️

You rock Vinny, thanks for the love! I've been watching the amazing things you are doing with sprouts....damn, you have an incredibly green thumb!! Miss ya brother!

Thnx I have learned how to just get out of the way of nature.....she knows what shes doing ;-) <3

PS set up your Wallet you are Zapp worthy😜

Yes, need ro get to that!

Welcome to the party, good choice in books. I just finished that Broken Money myself and I think I’m going to give it to my 14 year old for a must read.

Is it at a level your 14 year old will comprehend? I ask because I'm looking for a book that my husband can easily read. He can read deeps stuff but money/finance isn't his usual topic so I was hoping to find something that isn't too daunting for him....

I would think so, it goes through history of money and monetary systems mostly

Cool. That might be the book I'm looking for.

Damn good book, just finished it, well worth it!!!!

Yep, and then it makes the case for bitcoin based on that history. Well researched, very compelling and balanced case for btc

Hmmm, it might be a little tedious for a 14 y.o. unless that person has a particularily strong interest in monetary plumbing/history. That being said, you could probably selected specific chapters of interest amd focus there and perhaps leave out the more esoteric bits about M2 money supply, settlement issues, etc

Good guy ThatGuy.. welcome 🤙

Welcome 🫂💜 what a great book 📖

Oh yes, just finished it, bangers all the way around

Welcome to peer to peer networks with aligned incentives!

For sure the future is here methinks 😁😁😁

I am reading Broken Money too
