I long for the day when politicians actually act on the consensus from the people they govern rather than as is done now. The only time they give a shit about our prospective is when it is voting time.

Wow.... the banks..... wooo. I thought the point of crypto was to circumvent the banks? Why can't government be it's own custodian when it comes to taxes, service expenditure etc etc? It doesn't sound like freedom to me. It sounds like the same system repackaged with a different paint job.
