Private Follows are here!
Here's how to use Highlighter to create a Private list of people you want to follow. Then, by choosing the new list on Amethyst's top bar, the app will only show posts by public AND private entries in the list.
Boom. Now you can follow people without anyone else knowing about it.

I don't know if highlighter needs a desktop or not. :(
Ah, that’s what I meant tho, if highlighter is foss maybe you could build this whole functionality inside amethyst, or somehow plug into it from within the app?
