Private Follows are here!
Here's how to use Highlighter to create a Private list of people you want to follow. Then, by choosing the new list on Amethyst's top bar, the app will only show posts by public AND private entries in the list.
Boom. Now you can follow people without anyone else knowing about it.
Can you build this into the app natively? “Use highlighter” and you’ve lost me

Your follow is the closest thing to an endorsement or indication of trust on Nostr. I see it as a form of currency, 1,000+ follow lists are debasement, a shitcoin. Lists are the way to keep tabs on people you want to follow, but not spend that currency on 👌🏼

I haven't been able to use highlighter yet. When I click on highlights it is empty, and I can't add anything. All I can do is add private notes.
