Remember when #Nostr was going to solve the spam/bot problem?

I'd like to be able to charge a one time admittance fee for other handles to interact with my content (like, repost, comment), with my posts being read only until then.

I suspect that would eliminate most of the automated spam I run into on Nostr today.

I had a similar idea. It should cost 3 Satoshi in order to interact with a profile. 1 Satoshi goes to the profile you are following, the other satoshi to the relay and the other satoshi to the client app.

relays should also charge a couple of Satoshi just to connect. None of the free relays bullshit.
