I updated my Lightning Address converter!
Now you can zap a Lightning Address from lncli, Muun, Strike, Cash App, and any other wallet that does not yet support LNURL. ⚡️

Sorry, that's a bit too quick for me. What does it do?
Have you ever tried to zap a Lightning Address with a wallet (such as Cash App) that does not support it? Very frustrating! This tool fixes the problem by providing you with a compatible invoice.
I zap from Muun or LND directly, and it always works. I don't have Cash App, so no clue there.
You can zap a post yes, but not a Lightning Address.
Ah you mean zapping a non-zap client, as in a direct tip to a LN address... Aaaah got it. I think. Maybe.
Yes exactly! I can’t send sats to d@entr0py.com straight from lncli without first getting an invoice from entr0py.com/lnurl
This is great. Will this allow people to more easily use non custodial options when zapping?
Definitely. Many non-custodial wallets do not support LNURL, which is why I made this!
I hear Odell down on LNurl, maybe that it doesn’t work for self custody LN wallets, can you explain or point to an explainer page?
Sure it’s just that not all wallets support it yet. So my tool lets you use LNURL no matter what! 😈
Cool, i am just looking to learn more about LN wallets, like the Wallets 201. I run a node and want to understand the features of laptop/browser and mobile wallets in terms of integration features and privacy. I’ve used WoS, Blue, Muun, and a couple more.
Hi D++, when I try to zap you, it displayed "LNURL Error".
Tried with Snort and Iris, both failed
But when I use Amethyst on Android, it works.
Thanks so much for telling me! ⚡️ I didn't have any CORS headers set, because the wallets I was using did not require them. But now I have updated my Lightning Address server to work with Snort and Iris. ✊
