What I remember was that the truckers were refusing to enter Canada because they had to be jabbed so they blocked a bridge and people started to make donations and the government came after them so some people decided to send bitcoin and they need to use it so yeah it was a mess. Still we are in a worse position today them 4 years ago bitcoin is not for spending and there's no option besides privacy coins like monero for that.

Regarding the truckers, I live here and I also work in the trucking industry. Your brief summary was not wrong, basically only covered the finally event.

Yes we are better off now. So are the truckers. Hopefully many of them learned all about exchanges (exchanges are not bitcoin).

Thanks for the sats I hope Nostr grows I hate to be pessimistic but I see lightning custodial wallets like Wos being forced to be kyc'd even Phoenix is leaving USA. Hopefully Zeus, Mutiny and others will stand still and be more user friendly.

Fortunately, only a fraction of the world's population live in the USA.

And even in the USA, just because something is removed from the google play store, doesn't mean it cant be downloaded from a website, or alternative app store like Fdroid, Aptoide or Aurora Store.
