Better how? I probably only use it once or twice a year and it was always fine, though i mostly stuck to Windows/Ubuntu ISO's

Yeah, I used it couple years ago and the installation was pain, you had to use a separate folder per distro and config for my distro was missing. Now it partitions the USB into one hidden partition for system (UEFI...) and another for just the isos, so you literally just drop a file on it and good to go.
