Yeah it's interesting... I started following only bitcoin and econ type accounts at first. But the more I branch out and follow users who post unrelated content, I find there's a feedback loop and I discover even MORE non bitcoin content because of the users/notes they boost.

A lot of this goes back to time preference and pow. In its current iteration, if you're willing to slug it out and build your feed properly over time, there's a ton of good content to be discovered and more importantly a lot of really interesting people to meet. But you have to put in the effort and seek them out over time. It won't just instantly come to you fed on a poisoned spoon by the ai algo gods like most people are conditioned to expect.
