It just seems they refer to it by the ticker like a shitcoin - btc, ltc, xrp, Ada… just sets off red flags.
One does not simply call it by the ticker symbol. 👌
I am definitely guilty of that, but simply out of ignorance. IMHO we need to be more mild to n00bs like me if we want for Bitcoin to take of on a global scale. One cannot learn all the intricacies of the culture in a day! 🐶🐾🫡
