2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."

If you are in Christ, then you have a new heart that's inclined to righteousness. You're old deceitful heart is gone.

Therefore, abide in Christ as being one with him as is his will.

John 17:21: "That they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me."

If you abide in Christ, then you and Christ share the same heart.

"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." John 15:7

A heart isn't to be controlled. It's to be united with Christ through abiding, and then the heart can be trusted, because that person and Christ share the same heart.

🤔 Are you in a full glorified state? Do you still sin? If so, why?

Whether or not person are in their glorified bodies is a red herring.

The reality is that a person can operate as one with God now, in Christ, in his righteousness, and that control comes from fear. Since Jesus doesn't operate from fear of his own heart, neither do I.

I don’t disagree with the second point. I’m not talking about fear?

What’s the difference between justification and sanctification?
