Some people enjoy programming and do it for free. They would probably find repetitive shelf stacking tedious and unfulfilling.

I mean within the context of a job tho..like they're employed by some e commerce site or something, not their own project.

Or do you think even then people would do that for free? I doubt it.

For me, personally, I'd rather solve problems than do repetitive low-skill stuff. I like planning the route, identifying the bottlenecks, laying down the foundation, fleshing it out, and polishing it. It's nice to know something I put care in gets used, and is a usable, pleasant part of someone's software experience.
