When I think of conspiracy theories I’m reminded the way nostr:npub1a7mxreazql8ld0csdzk7wk6a5xjzcg7h632q78u3008lyr32lxks5t4ske addressed them. It’s well worth listening to and considering somebody proposes that they’ve figured out and are exposing a secret conspiracy.

Ray Peat on Noam Chomsky's left-wing authoritarianism:

This text in the screenshot is a rambling assortment of words that hardly deserves attention because it says nothing.
If you’d like yo know if someone is authoritarian, just go directly to that person’s words and actions. You don’t need someone else (including the “Ray Peat”) to tell you what to think. THAT is authoritarian. You (like everyone) deserve to be free and think for yourself.
Here’s Chomsky speaking for himself on authoritarianism: nostr:note1mxexjx3cewratppg3hg50hpcvdz9ly6e3ejegy6vrydzw69fuz8sehscdk
This is exactly the kind of aggressive communication style that Ray talks about.
Anyone paying attention, take note: this is how chomsky enjoyers talk to people. Does it seem good to you?
Their State centered collectivist cult thinking is the seed bed of bloody dictatorship.
An interesting response to an article (written by a famous anarchist) that makes a case against centralized state authority.
Did you get a chance to read the linked article? Id be interested to hear if it surprised you compared to what you had assumed previously.
If encouraging you to think for yourself rather than feeling like you only deserve to repeat the thoughts of others is agressive, I’m not sure you are conversing in good faith.
Regardless, it bears repeating that you and everyone are capable of thinking for yourselves and deserve to do so. I merely suggested that you could do so by engaging durectly with a source before accepting what someone else tells you to think about it.
We both know that that is not what I meant by aggressive.
I have no idea what you meant.
"This text in the screenshot is a rambling assortment of words that hardly deserves attention because it says nothing."
I think the point in that screenshot was pretty simple but go ahead and read the full essay if you need more context:
This essay was written many many years before Chomsky publicly endorsed punishing people that did not want to be injected by pharma's latest mystery juice.
You really should consider how this supposed anti-authoritarian came to such a paradoxical conclusion.
