i am clearly physically located in portugal, specifically madeira
my phone number is literally from the company providing this app
but google won't change my play location geofence until i open a bank account at a local bank
which i can literally do, if i could be arsed
but i don't want to do it because fuck them
just gonna log in through the non geofenced web browser and they can gft in the arse with a white hot barbed pole
btw, this is with an entirely "new" google account too
which when i go to pinterest and log in with google the account that i don't have the password to is somehow magically the same password
when google wants to make it a UX thing that they identify you via some magic juju and don't respect your physical location to let you access local services when you are in the physical location, i dunno what to say
what is their prime directive then?
clearly i am not their customer, that's for sure, it sure seems like they are trying to coerce me into getting a bank account which is quite interesting...

i installed their apk from another method of acquiring it and lo and behold it works perfectly
makes me wonder whether i should even have this google play store on my phone anymore
