I really appreciate the idea sir. In the spirit of Charlie Kirk we should always be willing to engage in peaceful dialogue with those we disagree with.

I would say the only thing for me is that I am not looking to “re-establish trust” because trust is built and not given to others.

If the current core team expects to be trusted again, I believe it might take 10-20 years of selfless and responsible open source contributions- and some kind of real public reckoning and explanation for their failure during the last year.

I think you should go ahead and send it more as a personal letter, it looks great- and see if you receive any response.

At the end of the day, this “community” is built on a crucial coincidence of wants- sound digital money.

I think it is against the general ethos to present ourselves as some kind of “knots collective”

Yes if we lose open dialogue we lose everything, I will keep pushing for it until the end!

Yes like you said maybe "re-establishing trust" is not the correct way to put it. Some core devs have withouth a doubt lost our trust and will take decade to regain it, maybe it's better saying that this letter is addressed to those core devs that disagree internally or see the problems, but are not "loudly" voicing it and this letter gives them a chance to show that there are still "good" core devs?

Upon further reflection I also like your point that we shouldn't present ourselves as some kind of "knots collective", it is not helpful neither in the spirit of btc. Maybe more simply like a representation of the disagreeing faction and their questions? Anyway like you suggested I will send it anyway as a personal letter, and let's see what happens
