access synology nas apps, or any other local server apps/sites you have on your phone

have an always on vpn but one browser app that is naked for merchant purchases to stay protected and prevent the vpn from flagging card services etc. (can be used in conjunction with profiles on #grapheneos)

just be mindful that can't use ”block connections without vpn" with this method, so be mindful of ip leaks, but it's so much better than having a few apps/urls/purchases prevent you from keeping your mobile vpn connected 💜

The "block connections" setting avoids accidental leaks, which may be crucial. Consider that if you set up a work profile or secondary user account, that will need its own vpn. So you can also separate select apps that way, if these few are special in a way.
