Never could get into D&D, but if I did... Rogue, if that's considered a class. Sneaky dagger dude with dark bags under his eyes and maybe a few magic tricks in his pockets, and coins and other shiny oddments have a habit of disappearing in his vicinity.

I don't play either. I'd probably go paladin, just to have access to both physical and magic based attacks. I like the hybrid aspect of it.

Lawful Good Paladin can be fun to play. Just a righteous Knight of some Code dictated by a divine calling.

Yup. Rogue.

I always appreciate a good rogue, as long as they don't loot from the party. 😐

ranger

My man.

Was pondering the Urban favored terrain as I got lost in DC parking garage. Prompted the post. Dual wielding ranger or arrow turret are a fave.

Chaotic lawful..

Played true neutral Elf with the original rules. Bit over powered in lower levels compared to others since it was kinda multi class. AD&D changed that.

Cant't say which is favorite. As a rolemaster gamemaster in middle-earth setting I really liked most the non spell users. Helps to design when options are a bit more limited even though railroading is avoided.

I always enjoyed the non-caster fighters but with robust magic defenses.

Like i'm a normal dude but your bullshit doesn't work on me

Yup. In rolemaster that can be gotten with some races.

5e druid

Shape shift druid? Or some other variety?

Neutral Good Cleric

Ooooo. Interesting. Any spell focus?

When I played I liked a style that I was basically indifferent to worldly bullshit but maniacally focused on eliminating undead. So I focused on turning undead, smashing lich phylacteries, and smiting anyone deranging the natural cycle of life and death.
