Have used a Pixel before?

Tried it in the shop, hated the experience
Why? Is it because you are not used to it? The UI flow is very different. It does take me a while to be able to use an iOS device. It's all unintuitive to me.
Feels unintuitive and not straightforward. Takes too many clicks to perform basic functions.
Yep, that is just because it is a different mind model. You can't replicate iOS thinking on Android and vice versa.
More clicks is not good UX, imho
i read that as more dicks
I agree
I am completely sure you are using it wrong. I have click counted before. They are very similar these days, but they are not the same clicks. You need to look for different things when using each OS. Otherwise, you will have to click more. If I try to do my Android mind on iOS, I also need more clicks.
I’ve had at least 3-5 Android devices, all with different UI, and had their own takes on it. All were outdated after about a year and didn’t function in even basic capacity. I have not tried a vanilla Android for a daily use, but from the first impression it wasn’t impressive
Yeah. Mamufacturers tend to change too much and kinda build a mental model for their brand. Most of the time it is not great.
Though I know people that swear Samsung has the best interface in phones. So I guess some folks like it.
