People spend a fuck ton on head covers, scorecard holders, and leather ball/tee bags

Hello 🫡

Tell me about scorecards and yard books. I have difficulties pin pointing the format of those two. I made some research to understand the difference but as you see in this picture it seems like they've put a score card in a yard book.

Also in my circle you can see a black elastic. It seems superfluous to me but I wonder what a user of those think. Is it necessary in a yard book?

I think the best would he for me to buy a standard yardbook and a standard score card and work around those but I'm not sure what to buy. I need cheap but standard size.

Is there a fancy brand for those out there? A company that does the best looking holders. One that every golf enthusiasts would like to own just to brag.

All the holders I've seen are really mid. Nothing exceptional.

Tons of gimmicky stuff out there - avoid iron covers, fancy retractable scrub brushes, god forbid a ball retriever.. get a set of clubs that are pleasing to your eye (ideally fit to you so you’re in the right flex shafts), and a nice sized towel that you wet one end of before your round to keep clubs/ball clean, and youre good to go.

Also good players often have nice leather scorecard / yardage book holders…
