How do I move my sats from my wallet of satoshi without getting charged an absurd rake? I tried to put 11k into my cold wallet and WoS charged me 8k 😑 #plebworldproblems

I’m using Muun rn, not sure if it’s the right call or not.
Is it easy to withdraw with Muun?

its easy to move sats from ln to cold storage with Muun. moving to fiat, you'll still need to use another service to turn sats into fiat.

It allows both LN and on chain with draws. onchain is just current miners rates and you can input desired rate if network is busy and prefer to wait yet pay a lower fee.
well currently fee rates are really high D:
so if u want wo withdraw you pay around 8,200 sats for next block confirm
and network is purging any transaction lower than 2.4 sat/vbite so around 500 but might takes days to confirm

Its not bad for this. Pretty sure muun is non custodial (they can’t swipe the funds)
when you're moving small amounts, like 11k, it usually isn't worth it to transfer to on-chain. there will always be some fees associated with going from ln to on-chain. I'd recommend waiting until you have a larger amount to send to cold storage
