It's a little weird when you're having a back and forth with someone in replies, and you make the last comment in the chain and don't even get a reaction. Did they see the note?

This is why I try to leave an emoji if I have no reply - they'll know I saw it. Usually I when I can't think of a reply, its because its a new day and I've lost the wavelength of the convo.

I leave people hanging a lot. I forget about reactions or think I'll respond later, but never do.

Default indicates at least read and acknowledged. I honestly don't care,and you're not the only one. I just find it funny to imagine the scenario... yes yes, I see what you said there...ok bye

Sometimes I'll find replies (that I never saw), after opening a different client. Having multiple relays is not enough, I guess. 😜
Rare for me, but it's happened a couple times. Mostly joking, but a couple people I know do it often and it's funny as I am sure they almost always read the last reply.
Notifications can be very unreliable, and even following up won't always fix it if there's a relay misconfiguration or something. Very hard to tell
