I’m so tired, and somehow the sink is full of dishes again. I keep looking at them to see if they’ve managed to get up and wash themselves yet

It is the way with us women at the holidays, unfortunately. It signifies not your age, your partner’s/husband’s, house-mates willingness to assist, you are quantum entangled with your dishes, kitchen, homemaking during the holiday season.

Do you have children? If not, I can assure you when you have them it gets way better. 😂
