So I've finally finished The Body Electric by Robert O. Becker. I am not exaggerating when I say in my lifetime of reading compulsively, this is perhaps the most important book I've ever read.

This was published before I was born, and yet it describes an explanation for problems that I've seen increasing my entire life. Somehow I never even knew about this premise, this theory of life that has been tested rigorously and clearly justifies additional research.

The last two chapters in particular really blew my mind, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the ramifications of his conclusions. I am drafting up my little book report and will share it soon enough. It's truly horrifying that such groundbreaking research could be so thoroughly repressed by a military industrial complex focused on profit and power over life on this planet.
