tangent, considering a theory on why all youtube thumbails are all people with their mouths open is because if "the algorithm" is really looking at ALL media on the internet, it only makes sense that the media with the most engagement (clickthrough, viewability, playthrough, shares, replayability, etc) to compare against is porn.
so the results of all the A/B tests that video platforms use to tell their creators how to produce videos to be more engaging for audiences (to increase reach) will inevitably drives toward the wider internet which results the end product competing to be toward porn 🤣 -- hence making all videos into open mouths 😲
