Apparently, this isn't the same character, but one replaced the other which still makes me angry. Remakes are always a miss and miss.

Yep, it's the Grand Bazaar remake. It released last week. They remade Mineral Town (for the 3rd or 4th time lol) and A Wonderful Life too. They'll probably keep releasing remakes alongside new entries.
I blame the RE remakes for spreading this plague, after RE3R this thing gone out of control
