When you're next in japan I need one of those.

They are stealing the penguin out of my watermelon, how dare they!

(Zap if you understood the joke)

GM, almost back for good

No cashu is a bearer asset. But be warned it is completely custodial.

You can send it over lightning too, but by default it's custodial

Use a cashu client, like cashu.me

Here you go, 10 sats only you can redeem

cashuBo2Ftdmh0dHBzOi8vbWludC5jb2lub3MuaW9hdWNzYXRhdIGiYWlIAE963yoENWxhcIKkYWECYXN4q1siUDJQSyIseyJub25jZSI6IjhkNGIyOTBjNDI1YWE4ZjYxZTA4NTllZjg5MjIzYmEyOTczNDU3Mzc1NzEwNjUyMDIzYTM5NzAwYjgxNDYwYTAiLCJkYXRhIjoiMDI3MDU1ZmM0MmM5YTYzOGFiNTZhZDA1NzAxNmEyZGVmYWNlOTdiNWVlY2UzMWEzYTdhNDY3MjdhZDg0Nzg5OWU1IiwidGFncyI6W119XWFjWCEDLBL76ajTzVMNPjVJBzy7MALBxdVgqpdz3t12iywXgfNhZKNhZVggR2LpbCDqqQ-cUcNLjI1Z_snjrDUZJlVPnCdTflAZ2FVhc1ggKHPgdaBduPysykVLuvhrPbJFCC0LPJXeH5kOB435iuRhclggEox95pC2uBKcXHW_5InNEwCjyTsSCNQFEm5posBnkAWkYWEIYXN4q1siUDJQSyIseyJub25jZSI6IjQ1ZThjY2JkNWFkMzVlYWIwMGFkM2ZiZWIwMzNiYWYzMDUxYzY1YjM5NmY5ZTg5ZTJiZWU5OTliYjRmOGM2YTkiLCJkYXRhIjoiMDI3MDU1ZmM0MmM5YTYzOGFiNTZhZDA1NzAxNmEyZGVmYWNlOTdiNWVlY2UzMWEzYTdhNDY3MjdhZDg0Nzg5OWU1IiwidGFncyI6W119XWFjWCECuoN2Oy3WQ19_bZXL3QdWH_p91Dm97DbaCQzamVb1BrlhZKNhZVggQgw6oXr1oYQ8gHXJ79x40e5tWtPGXV9Ev5PeZ5hSfydhc1ggtfWfPwUBFnaG4YU267ONguLcJQhtl2C8yauwEZEG4kNhclggKDerLELjCxyKgBn_Ed6I6wknub3B7bfP9UKxRmw06QU

If only they were real girls

An entire week on 1000 sats?

This confirms my conspiracy theory that wolps live in the future and communicate with humans through a microwave

If I send you a transaction with 5 outputs with 83 112 97 109 32 sats respectively did I send arbitrary data?

If not, what if I send to an address such as: bc1pfaqjynpf4d7cf0h2d0cnfrsqfx74939heas83laucyak3us3vwzq8j56kd. The private key tells you to follow me on nostr.

Its anyone can spend!

He's right. But too specific and reductionist.

You may think this is just a cute picture of Anya but in reality it's both a picture of Anya and a picture of powrina (#pow #wolpstr).

If you know what to look for you can restore it.

Similarly this may look like the nostr logo but if you know what to do, it's the animestr logo.

Anything that transmits data can be used to transmit other data than what it appears, or what its intended

I don't know about thousands. English will evolve over time.

I think it will adapt to be more analytical, simplified, and mark my words, English will use kanji in the next 500 years.

It's the internet pipes man, they're all around us.

It's not that hard, it's a lot to learn but if someone like me can learn, you can too

Bitcoin cash is a shitcoin, a real one, that stems from the same ideas you're spouting.

It's as bad as dogecoin, except in some ways it's better because it's a fork off of Bitcoin, so certain people have bch that they can sell to real money

Of course we should be using Bitcoin Cash, it's fast and has big blocks what else would you want? 🤣

I'm of course joking, I'm not sure what argument digit was making. Bitcoin is the only real money, everything else is fake

Donate it to a random person (because I'm not paying shipping), but we need a funny number of orders.

29,000 sats incoming

Did you know that hundreds of years ago people didn't eat the rice in sushi? They used it to preserve the fish, which is what they actually ate

I want to get to the point where 1 sat = 1 yen because I don't like multiplying by 10. Make it happen nostr.

There have to be some billionaires that want to make that happen right?

Amethyst on android.

None on desktop.

Jb55 will probably say damus (its good, I like it, but it misses too many features for me).

Are you actually a us representative? Or is this a parody account?

If you clean a vacuum cleaner you become a... vacuum cleaner

Villains in media are almost never portrayed as real people, they're always fundamentally flawed in some way.

One of the reasons why honzuki is my favorite book series of all time is because truly there's no villain.

Even people who are obviously antagonistic to RM (and ehrenfrsf, and yurgenschmidt) have very believable reasons for being who they are. No spoilers, but Georgine has a reason for being a bitch, as does Gervasio (if you don't know the name don't look it up, huge spoiler). I may not agree with their reasoning but it feels human.

The only ones whose reasoning for their behavior is hard to understand (tho still there) is the gods, and I think making them hard to understand that may have been a conscious choice by Miya Kazuki (who I truly think is the greatest writer alive today, possibly ever).

Cowboy bebop is a 6/10.

Evangelion is a 6/10 if you're not depressed.

Perfect blue is a 7/10

Slam dunk I hsvent watched, don't like sports anime much

Princess mononoke 8/10

Yuyu hakusho 6.5/10

Akira 6/10

GTO anime 5/10, dorama 9/10

Lain 3/10

I'm not American, I'm originally European, and I currently live in a country where guns are banned. Technically you can get guns here, but it's a hard process that may take a decade and results in you losing the right of privacy in your own home, so my reply isn't from the perspective of an American.

The purpose of guns from an American perspective is to guarantee that the final political power always rests with the ordinary citizen, not with the government.

Here in Japan I don't have to fear some criminal is going to shoot me (nor stab me, or throw acid at me, or anything of the sort), violent crimes do happen of course, but they are incredibly rare.

I still believe, however that American gun culture is something every country should aspire to emulate; not because it makes daily life safer in the short term, but because it makes long-term political survival possible.

The Japanese state is polite, efficient [though too bureaucratic], and overwhelmingly non-violent, but it is also a black-box sovereign. If tomorrow a Diet majority decided to impose an unjust law the citizen has no last-resort leverage.

In the United States the Second Amendment is a constitutional declaration that legitimacy flows upward from the people, not downward from the crown, the party or the bureaucracy. The rifle in the closet says: “We can still say no, even if every other mechanism has failed.”

That veto power is deliberately expensive to exercise, nobody wants war, but the existence of the veto changes the calculus of every actor inside the system. A would-be autocrat must ask: "Will my police, my judges, my neighbours pull the trigger for me, or will they refuse and, worse, shoot back?" The uncertainty alone keeps the ceiling lower than it otherwise would be.

The system is not perfect of course, but I'd rather have it than not.

A family member is staying over for the week... I put on some music, demondice came up, and she looked at me with this face that screamed "what am I listening to", and I straight up started laughing, then said, "she's an underground idol... Her new identity is super popular on the internet tho"... Thankfully she didn't ask for more info or I'd have to explain vtubers

Fair, but Linux is so stable today, last time I feared upgrading was maybe around 2010

Go foundation. Cold card is solid software but the developer has said some concerning things in the past.

#animestr now supports multiple NIP-05s

1. if the Church Fathers were part of the deception, we'd basically have no Christianity left. These guys literally learned from the apostles or their direct students. Like, Ignatius of Antioch was taught by John himself. Polycarp too. If they got it wrong from day one, then Jesus failed at establishing his Church, which contradicts his promise that "the gates of hell won't prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18).

2. Job 1:6 literally says "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them." That's definitely God's court, and "sons of God" in Hebrew refers to spiritual beings, not humans. Plus, this adversary has power to afflict Job with supernatural disasters - not really something a human enemy could pull off.

3. Jesus talks about Satan as a separate being constantly - "I saw Satan fall like lightning" (Luke 10:18) wasn't him talking about his own desires falling. And when Peter tries to stop him from going to the cross, Jesus says "Get behind me, Satan" - he's not calling Peter his fleshly desire, he's saying Peter is being used by the adversary.

4. In all honesty, I've never heard this argument. I'll have to think about it, and ask for guidence. But Genesis 3 clearly has Adam, Eve, AND the serpent as three separate characters having a conversation. Hard to have Adam talking to Eve while also being the serpent talking to Eve, you know? Plus, Revelation 12:9 straight up identifies "that ancient serpent" as the devil and Satan.

I'm going sleep now, but the Orthodox position is that if we can't trust the earliest Christians who literally knew the apostles, then we can't trust anything about Christianity at all. These weren't random dudes making stuff up - they were martyred for these beliefs they learned directly from Christ's own disciples.

I'm telling you without joking that I trust the cryptography in nostr more than I trust that spontaneously turn into a blackhole
