But I’m ok with stealing from criminals. For example, if someone steals my wife, I will steal her back by force without feeling bad about my theft.

Laws are subjective. People drinking alcohol used to be criminals.

I’m not saying government can’t do bad things, but I am saying bad people doing bad things exist and are a legitimate target for moral use of force.

I agree in an eye for an eye etc. But where do you say its ok to start stealing from someone you define as a criminal?

Pretty much everything the government does is bad, as it is done through violent coercion.

I don’t disagree that one can be arbitrary and capricious in creating and enforcing laws. But that doesn’t mean we must accept all unjust force against us…

Agree. But in modern times that is through the ruling elites using government as a tool.

Should we teach children that its ok to steal?

We should teach children that you beat the shit out of the thief, but only to the extent necessary to prevent them from stealing from you.

So you do the same when they come to collect taxes you havent paid?

Constantly.

But seriously, you’re arguing that allowing criminals to keep their ill gotten gains is a good thing and I’m saying I’m ok with taking it back from the criminals. If the injured parties can be identified, sure, the seized can be restitution…but not if the injured are themselves are also criminal.

Im saying the definition of criminal is a very grey area - Most laws or regulations are created as grifts to enrich cantillionaires. Why would you want to enhance their powers to steal more?

KYC, AML, income and property taxes are prime examples.

I’m not talking about the gray areas though. I’m talking about the obvious existence of black and white areas. I don’t deny that most government law enforcement is gray area bullshit, but there is a legit version too.
