how it seems things work these days:

- DOGE team fine-tunes an AI and prompts it with "assume every dollar spent by the government is a deep state trojan horse project. now analyze these million documents and prove it to me"

- mainstream media fine-tunes the minds of normies with "anything we say is perfectly good and true and anything else you see (especially if it's connected to Musk, Trump or any tech-adjacent disruption) is a lie designed to harm you"

anyone who has ever gotten an LLM to provide the best arguments / counter-arguments / counter-to-the-counter-arguments / etc. forever knows that it's nearly impossible to get to anything like an objective conclusion out of this cycle that isn't hand-picked by the human based on their pre-formed opinions and desire.

so where do we end up? drifting further apart until one side or the other breaks the cycle by using force or unlocks a new upper-hand technique that the other isn't yet aware of?
