Ruger Magpul Glock #gunstr https://ruger.com/products/rxm/models.html?r=y
Discussion
I was genuinely interested in checking this out at my local gun store. Then I noticed there was no manual thumb safety.
I really am upset with this new trend of firearm producers coming out with cool new shit. Then saying oh fuck you for wanting basic safety measures, because they just want to raw dog without a thumb safety.
Trigger discipline and a good holster is all the safety you need am I right?
The thumb safety isn't for me, because I am irresponsible. It is for other dumbasses and moments where shit happens beyond your control. Which if you are a hard worker on your homestead doing man shit. That added safety comes in fucking handy when a 2x4 slips out of your hands. Knocks your gun out of the holster.
Then you wonder how good their drop safety is and was their quality assurance testing team doing their jobs right at the factory. Due to a round always being in the chamber.
I always choose a model with a thumb safety…
Grip safety are nice too but I still go with the thumb…
They probably with come out with a thumb safely sooner or later?
I sincerely hope so.
Smith & Wesson especially need to stop this unsafety trend. Mother fuckers coming out with all of the best guns that I would sell my EDC to upgrade to. Yet, no thumb safety. So I instead have my thumb up my ass, because fuck me for wanting to be safer wity my firearms right?
