Not sure if you have this on or off, but at least in my case a lot of those notifications come from auto playing videos. I turn that off and it drastically dropped my notifications and is much less annoying across all my devices because I use KDE Connect.
I mightβve just upped my reply game with this yarn tool

Nope. I don't have notifications on and am always between 2 and 3 GB. Fuck the 100 translator packs that downloaded against my will on Amethyst.
