I can tell You from experience that dca defeats any short term fiat price movements.
Yes, it's still early in bitcoin.
What's important is that You know what bitcoin is and how to use it. And You can help others around You adopt it, once they're ready. To them it will be all natural just as people started using a smartphone or the internet.
