1984 the movie, for anyone that has never seen it πŸ˜‰

So I was wondering how people get hooked on certain behaviours including online behaviours.

My conclusion was that it is because of intermittant reinforcement which is very addictive.

Intermittent reinforcement is a schedule of rewards for certain behaviors or responses but without any predictable pattern. In other words, the reward comes periodically, not every time it’s performed.

Casino's are using this.

Porn sites are using this.

Shopping sites are using this.

Social media platforms are using this.

If You know for sure You get pleasure or positive feedback every time You spin the wheel, post something or watch any porn video, it will get boring really fast.

If You never get any pleasure or positive feedback You won't go back doing that either.

If You get positive feedback or pleasure only 1 in 6 times, it's way more addictive. Once in a while that dopamine hit, the really good feeling. It will make You come back for that again and again.

What this leads to is conditioning, You are now conditioned to do this again to get this feeling good hit.

I'd like to encourage You, with the above in mind, to be aware of all this.

Cheers! πŸ˜‰

In case this isn't clear for everyone. The difference between currency (USD) and money (Bitcoin) πŸ˜‰:

Have You ever wondered why French fries are so thin at the McDonalds?

It's because they can deepfry those raw potato pieces all at once at one high temperature.

When You make French fries from scratch with normal sized raw pieces, You have to deepfry them first at a low temperature and then deepfry them at a high temperature. πŸ˜„

#Bitcoin the protocol is proof of work.

Becoming wealthy in Bitcoin is proof of discipline.

Stack your sats and ignore the noise. πŸ˜‰

My secret ingredient in cjili is a teaspoon of cocoa powder. It gives a smooth almost smokey touch to it. πŸ˜‰

Governments will tell You that all the KYC and AML requirements are done to prevent terrorism, human trafficking and money laundering.

The real reason is that they want to stop tax evasion and are using the banks for it. πŸ˜‰

A problem with most pets is you outlive them. Dogs, cats, etc.

The problem with parrots is if you don’t plan right, they outlive you.

When I was little, like 9 years old, my main dream was to have parrots. I pushed my father to get them, and he did. And I took great care of them for a decade. I kept their cages open so they could go inside or outside as they pleased. I pet them, played with them, etc.

And then I went to college. My father got a new girlfriend, and they got a cat, which they named fucking Paris Hilton (girlfriend’s idea).

And it was a Bengal cat. An aggressive, energetic type. Paris was actually really cool on her own, but not with the parrots. You have to be careful with cats and parrots standing atop open cages. The parrots are happy to say hi and the cat is happy to play a predator. Can’t have that.

So my father started to lock the parrots in their cages. The macaw became noticeable unhappy first. The amazon was stoic for longer. But I was like β€œI’m in college, and then I’m going to live in a small apartment, and they can’t stay here or anywhere.”

So I did a ton of research and found them new homes that had the expertise to take care of them. Parrots are often snappy toward people they don’t know, and both of these parrots would bite people other than me. So they needed a lot of resocialization.

I loved them so much, but I would be so careful to advise parrots as pets unless one was *really* equipped to have them.

As a child I had an aunt that had a parrot and a dog. When the dog died the parrot would still bark when someone rang the door bell. 🀣

#symbolism

Sometimes people in power are signaling something by using symbolism. I think Trump did this too recently. So below You'll see the picture of the US presidential seal as You all know it.

The eagle is facing the olive branch and this branch symbolizes peace. So showing the eagle looking at it means the preference is peace.

The arrows symbolize war.

This seal was changed in 1945 from the eagle looking at the arrows to the eagle looking at the olive branch.

So a seal with the eagle looking at the arrows signals war, but it could also signal going back to the values of the constitutional republic.

At the recent speech Trump did remotely to the WEF, the other picture below was shown in the background.

The eagle faces the arrows. I think he signaled with that the war message to the WEF and going back to the real constitutional republic. πŸ˜‰

#Bitcoin won't need governments to stockpile it.

Bitcoin is by the people and for the people.

It will be adopted anyway, because there is a need for it.

If someone discovers it, educates himself and then gets that ahaaah-moment, it's very powefull.

After that people get a lot of conviction to defend it.

One adopter after another.

Don't be worried, the fiat price of bitcoin will do just fine. πŸ˜‰

So here are examples of apps where the phone sensors are used:

Accelerometer:

- fitnessapps

- Snapchat (with mapping)

- driving apps (in order to show your current speed)

Gyroscope:

- gaming apps (for instance racing)

Magnetometer:

- Google maps and other mapping apps (compass mode)

- Compass apps

- metal detector apps.

I'd say that the sensors are widely used in apps. But I do appreciate that GrapheneOS is intending to make a Sensors Off toggle as well. πŸ‘πŸ»

Yes, it is a more privacy focused OS. However, it still grants apps acces to those sensors, camera and the mic even when these apps aren't used at that moment.

To have this one click button to turn them off, the procedure is the same as with android. πŸ˜‰

#Android #Privacy

So here's a trick for those that use an android phone. Go to :

Settings>About phone>Software information> tap build number 7 times>enter your pin.

Now your phone is in developer mode.

Go to the main page of settings>developer options>quick settings developer tiles>enable sensors off.

Now go back to your main phone screen and swipe down to the quick settings. You'll see now a new icon on top left that says: Sensors off.

If You turn that on, camera's, mic, gyroscope and accelerometer will be disabled.

It's great for moments when privacy is needed in the real world while having your phone with You. πŸ˜‰

Agreed!

I'm being shadow banned there for years.

When You critisize Musk there, You'll get censored.

Musk is just a manager. He didn't invent things, he just bought companies and let others do the work.
