I relatively recently realized how much I really like paprika, especially smoked paprika, then I did a food sensitivity test and it said that one of foods giving me the most problems was paprika. I've been trying to avoid it while healing my gut. I never realized how much food has paprika in it. I basically can't eat any BBQ, steak with seasoning, or sausage. I never noticed an obvious problem, so hopefully I can go back to eating paprika soon.

My secret ingredient in cjili is a teaspoon of cocoa powder. It gives a smooth almost smokey touch to it. 😉

I once brought my chilli with dry sherry to a Southern Baptist potluck. I didn't tell them what I put in it, but got lots of compliments.
