Payments don't seem to be working right now.
A really nice thing about lightning is you can fix liquidity problems for other people yourself. The node these Ukraine donations go to had just a single, small, channel and payments were failing. So I opened a big channel, and now donations are going through.
I will donate after they ask for peace treaty. They turned down peace multiple times
When somebody invades your private property should you beg for not hurting you or fight back?
Do you think the state owns people? The people of Crimea and the Donbas region wanted to separate after the 2014 Ukraine coup.
Crimea separated right away, the people were thankful for the Russians.
The Donbas did not and since 2014 there are 14,000 dead civilians in the Donbas fighting civil war against Kiev/Kyiv.
You believe the tyrant state owns people and areas by fiat? If those people want to separate then accept the new border and have peace.

400,000 dead Ukrainians and forced conscription off the streets of young and old. Maybe 50,000 Russian casualties including the Wagner Convicts who did most of the high casualty fighting.
