Digging into this. Never mentioned once in Biochemistry, Cell biology, or Molecular biology as I was getting my degree.
Bizarre.
But what is it and what does it do? Or does nobody have any idea?
I found this. Looks like no one has a clue. It's hard to study because our basic cell models (yeast, Fruit flies, etc.) don't have them.
