That’s only 17k lightning nodes. Some people run the nodes but don’t use lightning or use private channels only. I think real number is much bigger

Interesting. I'm looking at the clark moody dashboard which shows a smaller value for lightning nodes and a larger value for 'reachable' bitcoin nodes, but now that you mention it that makes sense there would be more.

The statement remains. Just add lightning ⚡🤙
